On the advice of my attorney (heh heh), I'm updating my blog. I've got an interview next week for MY DREAM JOB. It's really, really, really scary. I just finished reading over the THREE PAGE job description, but luckily, I think I can do most of what's on there. My weaknesses are with budgets, and the business side of things, but I've also had lots of experience in that area to make up for it. The other two major things I lack are bilingualism (which I have, but I'm just a wussy anglophone) and a valid driver's license. If I get this job, I will, indeed, get my license. To me, that's almost as scary as the interview. I've really got a problem with the notion that I take my life into my hands when I get behind the wheel of a car, or even worse, I take another's life into my hands. Shirking responsibility? Maybe...

Anyway, this is all pretty nuts, and I'm trying to accurately gauge my confidence level through all this. I've got a gut feeling that there's probably someone out there better than me to do this job. I guess I just feel young and inexperienced... but so eager.

I will try to keep y'all update on how things are going. A bientot!

Jenn.

PS: I just realized I never said what the position is: It's Education Co-ordinator for AIDS NB in Fredericton. I'd be responsible for planning, overseeing, and evaluating different programs, as well as other really cool things like the Information Line, and Needle Exchange Program (super cool!), and other harm reduction type programs. Oh my GAWD.
